My Art Is On Display!

I just recently found out from a friend who still goes to the high school I graduated from that one of my art pieces is on display! Every year, the AP Art teacher chooses the top 10 art pieces from different artist who show their technique effectively to display in a case located in the main hallway of the school. Out of almost 50 students, I was one of those students chosen! This just shows how wrong I was about my art. In AP Art, students choose a concentration and from that concentration, they draw 24 different pieces that portray that concentration or concept. I chose, and I know it sounds lame, details of fruits and vegetables. Because I thought no one would really like my concept, I always thought that my pieces wouldn't be eye catching. I went all of AP Art doubting myself and my pieces, but this just shows that my art pieces had just as much potential as everyone else's. Now my 'Dragonfruit' art piece (done with colored pencil) is on display and will be returned to me with a blue, golden ribbon! Here's a picture of my piece, hope you guys like it! :)
